Over the weekend, the Denver Post editorialized on the issue that's long been the focus and source of frustration at CCLP: the state's benefits management system. The editorial concisely put the bureacratic problems into context, and leveled some due criticism against the state for the feet-dragging move toward real solutions to the problem.
This is one of many in a long line of too-slow attempts to fix a problem that has plagued lower-income Coloradans for years--long before the onset of the current recession and the resulting influx in need.
Are you outraged yet? We are.
